Past Works

These are some sewing projects that I have completed over the past year since I started lessons in mid-2013. I have posted the WIP stages of each project before on Facebook, but I’ll here on WordPress i’ll just post a photo montage. Let’s be serious, WIP photos aren’t that pretty, are they?

Qipao top and double flounce skirt. My attempt at modern ethnic wear. Did I succeed or does it look a little off?

I went through a shirt dress phase after I learnt how to draft blouses in sewing class. Here are two in delicious cotton lawn. So cool and comfortable!
First blouse that I made with a self-drafted pattern, guided by my sewing teachers of course! Here it is in salmon-pink quiliting cotton, which really isn’t the best choice for clothing, but I think the print is really cheerful.
Long Black Dress – I fell in love with the houndstooth weave but it was too expensive and inappropriate for a long flowy dress, so I used as an accent on the collar and cuffs.
